Northside High School offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes classes in various subjects, such as reading, language arts, social studies, math, biology, family and consumer science, history, English and technology education. The school also administers art, music, foreign language, and health and physical education programs. In addition, Northside High School operates a library that houses a collection of books and reference materials. It participates in a range of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, softball and volleyball. Additionally, the school maintains band, chorus, drama and music appreciation clubs. It is a part of the Tuscaloosa County School System, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Northside High School is located in Northport, Ala.
