Better get in writing or on tape what they tell you on prices! They just started charging me an extra $10 for anal glands for my small dog (I was already paying $60 for a 22lb poodle mix which is high). When I first started going there I was told by Natalie (one of the owners) anal glands were included in a full groom package and have never been charged for it. Most reputable groomers included it in a full groom package (I called 6 of them in the metro Detroit area)! When I called Natalie to discuss this with her she said "she doesn't remember what she told me". I gave her the total amount that I was charged the last 3 visits to show her I haven't been charged for anal glands and her only response was "sometimes that happens". Also, asked repeatedly that my small dog be kept behind the desk with the other smaller dogs since he gets overwhelmed by all the other big dogs and every time I went to pick him up he was in the large room in a corner. Used to really like this place but something has changed over the last year and it isn't good in my opinion. Owners don't seem to care about their clients either. Wont be taking my furkids there again.

He was raggedly clippered short into a poodle,complete with ball on top of poodle head with poodle ears and face,poodle tail with ball of fur at end.

I've been taking my poodle here for the last 2 years and she always has a great time! Nice open area for the dogs to play, staff is friendly and professional.

I've had my dog groomed at other places and Dog Gone Beautiful was far beyond previous experiences. They trimmed my dog with precision and sent him home with a cute scarf on! You can tell that they love every dog in their care. And I love that the dogs are loose and not kept in cages.

As soon as I walked in I felt warm and fuzzy ,like I was finally home. All the dogs were running around playing. It was very clean. My Yorkie is very friendly and was playing with all the dogs before I even left. No separation anxiety. For the first time ever, I left her and did not worry or feel bad she would be locked up in a cage.

They did a really great job grooming her and the price was reasonable.

Instead of dreading taking her to be groomed I am looking forward to the experience as I know she is!!! Thank goodness for these dog lovers.

This was our second time coming to Dog Gone Beautiful, and we are regular clients now. They do a wonderful job, but most of all you can tell they love the dogs! Horace looks so handsome after his visit. Thank you!!!

Took our 2 girls, a shih-tzu and a cavashon, to Dog-Gone Beautiful yesterday. WOW! They are gorgeous!!! Our groomer for 12 years moved out of state, so we were lost where to get good quality grooming. After a couple bad experiences, we found Natalie and Stephanie, and can't tell you how pleased we are. Great people, lovely store and our kids get to have playtime while they're there! We have found our new doggie Beauty Parlor!!!!

This is the best place for dog grooming in the area. Not only do they do an excellent job, but they take care of your pet with love and compassion. We have been working with this groomer for over 10 years and one thing is for certain is the quality of work and dedication! Dog-gone beautiful is a place that not only makes your furry friend look great, but is almost a day at the spa for your pets! If you are looking for a place that will make your friend look good and feel relaxed this is the place!

You have to bring your dogs here. I have taken my dogs to many different groomers and they are always afraid to go in. Today I took my dogs to dog gone beautiful and not only did they go in happily they came out happy and looking great. I will never go anywhere else to get my dogs groomed. You can tell that the staff really cares about your dog and treats them as if they were there own. Love this place.

The BEST pet grooming place around FINALLY! We have searched high & low all over town (Canton, Plymouth, Farmington Hills, Wixom, and Commerce - we live in Commerce Twp.) and have had little luck until now...thank gosh! Our dog, an English Setter Lab mix, has never looked so good and even more important, he enjoyed it! Phenomenal work Stephanie! He's no longer a shaggy mess and he smells great too!
