Provided by YPmobileThis place is the definition of the word DUMP! Absolutely the worst laundromat I have ever been in my life and would never return nor recommend to anyone, including people I dislike. After surveying the layout and observing several dilapidated machines that clearly did not work, I placed my clothes in a machine that appeared to work only to catch the attention of some old male attendant with a turkey neck and pants pulled up to his ribs. He muttered something that I interpreted as meaning "that machine doesn't work". When I asked which machines do work, he turned around and I thought he was leading me to one that did. Instead, all he did was go chat with the one or two customers who already were doing their laundry in the working machines and pretended as if I didn't exist. Either these owners are too illiterate or too ignorant to place "out of order signs" on the broken machines since none exist and therefore choose to manage the process in this inexplicable manner. I left without dropping one quarter into this dump and went to a GREAT LAUNDROMAT on Joy just east of Haggerty. I would rate highland lakes laundromat at less than one star but this site won't permit it.

Provided by YP.comDon't go. Only five dryers worked today. None of the broken equipment is marked as such, leaving the attendant to shuffle about the place telling clients which machines they can and can't use. The attendant's memory seemed a little shaky on this topic. They hesitated in front of more than ten broken machines explaining the specific reason why each did not work, apparently locating the ones that did work by process of elimination. And although three machines were empty and did supposedly work, the attendant was 'holding' those particular machines for customers whose laundry was still mid-cycle in the washers. I was given the option of waiting 45 minutes until two customers' laundry finished washing and then drying or finding another laundromat. Guess which one I chose. Incidentally, 'Washing Well Laundry' on Ann Arbor Road by Newburgh was just twelve minutes away via 275. I found it cleaner with plenty of available machines and an attendant who was able to busy herself with drop-off laundry work because she had labeled the several machines that did not work with signs.

Provided by YP.comThis place is the worst laundromat I have ever been to. I only go to wash large comforters and quilts twice a year. The machines are very old. Most of the machines don't work and are disgusting. The place is filthy. I'm looking for a new place to go today.
