The Eisenhower Elementary School, located in Norton, Kan., offers various opportunities for the beginners. The elementary school is affiliated with the Norton Schools and offers a curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through six. Its kindergarten course is a full-day program concentrating on academic and social development. The school offers planned programs in reading, mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. It also provides special education services for children suffering from speech learning disabilities, early childhood, educable mentally disabled, behavioral disorders, and occupational and physical therapies. In addition, the Eisenhower Elementary School has a fully equipped library housing more than 12,000 volumes of books, periodicals and magazines.
