Milkshake machine broken for months

We go to the Norton McDonalds once a week, and their milkshake machine has been broken for 2 months. March 1st is tomorrow, so I guess I'll have to travel to Attleboro or Taunton to get a shamrock shake. If the bun machine was broken, would they stop selling burgers rather than get it fixed or replaced? :/
