Provided by YPmobileI brought my son in on 1/18/15 for flu symptoms. After filling out the registration forms, we waited a good 15 minutes to be seen while one of the girls finished telling her roommate situation to the Indian physician. (I can't remember his name). After she finished telling her story, the physician called us back. He pressed around on my son's face and looked in his ears and said it was viral. I knew I had wasted time and money right then. He wouldn't do a flu or strep test and had the classic symptoms of the flu. He spent a total of 30 seconds with him and let us leave. I asked him about school and he said he could stay out for a day. As we are walking out, he said oh yeah, I need to take his temperature. He didn't even know how to operate the thermometer! He had a fever and sent us on our way, although the flu is an epidemic right now. I ended up taking him to the er, because his fever was worse and I knew it was the flu. The triage nurse couldn't even believe they didn't test him for the flu at urgent care. Needless to say, my son has the flu. So, if I would've listened to the physician at urgent care, I would've sent my son back to school so he could expose his classmates with the flu. Poor excuse as a physician along with the office being unprofessional.
