Located in Norwich, Conn., Norwich Adult Education administers a range of academic programs that improve basic skills and offer high school diplomas to individuals above the age of 16. Its high school credit diploma program includes classes for adults in English, mathematics, science, social studies, history and civics. Norwich Adult Education provides a GED preparation program that features courses in language arts and reading and writing skills, as well as instructs students in the development of problem solving skills. Additionally, it offers an enrichment program that includes classes in the areas of dance, music, computer education, arts and crafts, cooking, health and wellness, and personal and professional development. Norwich Adult Education is a part of Norwich Public Schools, which also governs elementary, middle and high school divisions.
