Veterans' Memorial School provides learning opportunities for more than 250 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers a variety of special programs such as speech and language, bilingual education, English as a Second Language, gifted and talented and special education classes. Its student activities include parks and recreation sports, field trips, student assemblies and community service projects. Veterans' Memorial School has a guidance counseling department that communicates with parents, teachers and administrators regarding student issues and needs.
