Went to this place for 2+ years every other week to same tech (20%+ tip each time) for nails and occasional pedicure. Their policy is they will fix a "problem" if there is one. Went and needed a fix before I went on vacation (preventative measure). The technician had a hissy fit even though I had an appointment for the fix and arrived early so as to not make him wait etc... (I had to wait for him). I am assuming his fit of anger was because he couldn't leave as early as he wanted too (an hour before the store closes), and I dared say that I needed a repair. He didn't listen to what I needed done and why. Caused a public scene and humiliated me in front of all the clients in the store, saying he never wanted to do my nails again (when I tried to explain why I needed more than just glue, and it to be done right). Manager apologized to me, called the owner who made him fix it the correct way. I never received an apology from the tech for his horrible humiliating behavior. I don't think I will be returning due to the embarrassment, as apparently this kind of behavior is allowed and nothing was done to the tech to inform him that what he did was wrong and a detriment to their business (others in the store were shocked and horrified to be witness to the scene). HORRIBLE customer service skills by the tech, no matter how many times the manager apologized. This was also one of their better technicians.
