They did make a mistake but handled it right away and made it right. Thank you. Same day service is what I needed and they came through in the end.

I brought my newly purchased sport coat to American Cleaners to shorten the sleeves on it and was told that it cost no more than 7 to 8 dollars to do the the work. When I went to pick up my jacket yesterday Sept. 29 the bill had gone up to almost 19 dollars. The woman at the counter who wasn't the person I had originally spoken to, claimed that on side from the alteration they had it dry cleaned it, which I never asked to do as it was brand new. She took off 4 dollars off but still charged me 14 dollars for the alteration and said that the store doesn't quote prices prior to the work to be done. 14 dollars didn't break me but their shady and deceptive practices bothered me and so this is the first and last time that I use American Cleaners in O'Fallon. I caution anyone else from patronize this place as they are down right dishonest.
