Provided by YP.comOur son has been transformed by his experience with Ms. Shawna and Ms. Leslie at Bella Montessori. The Montessori Method is uniquely tailored to reach the needs and development of each child as an individual. The results are amazing. People frequently comment on the maturity, kindness, curiosity and intellectual focus that my son brings to all of his endeavors. His early education at Bella Montessori plays a priceless role in developing these qualities. Ms. Shawna and Ms. Leslie love children and are passionate about education. Their passion helps to grow the minds of children and this kind of learning lasts a lifetime.

Provided by YP.comWe have several friends with children close to our daughter's age (3), all with their children in different preschools. I have yet to have one concern or complaint about Bella Montessori. In fact I can't stop saying good things about them. Our daughter attends three half days each week, at this time, and immediately I saw positive results from the choice we made in schools. Her speech, which she has had no problem with, greatly improved, as have her interest in learning her letters, numbers, and how to write. What I am most impressed about is her social skills. She is an only child and every where we take her we are complimented on politeness and general socialness. Ms. Shawna and Ms. Leslie are always very upbeat and very eager to help or give kudos to our daughter as well as give me suggestions on how to continue to improve her developing skills while at home. I feel very lucky that we found Bella Montessori Preschool!

- Practical Life: The child learns to care for himself and the environment with simple exercises which develop order, concentration, coordination, independance, respect for others and self-esteem. Exercises in grace and courtesy enhance the child's socialization process. Care for our school plants and animals develop the child's appreciation of the natural world. Sensorial: The child works with materials which help her to refine sense discriminations and to become more aware of the surrounding world: to recognize and compare various colors, shapes, sizes, textures, and sounds. Sand-and-water-table play enhance the child's experience of discovery in these areas as do other play activities. Language: A rich verbal environment helps the child to develop vocabulary and self-expression. Social and verbal interactions between children are encouraged. Stories are read and dramatized. The child works with sandpaper letters and other materials which help him to discover reading as he or she b ecomes ready. Math: Math materials consist of a progression of objects with a goal of giving the child a strong foundation for forming abstract ideas. Cultural Subjects: The cultural subjects curriculum attempts to unify all aspects of the child's learning.
