This was the absolute worst experience. For the birth of my fourth child, I chose a birth center near me. I was then told, with less than a month left before my due date, that they would not be able to accomodate my birth. I was devastated and am left in the horrible position of trying to make new arrangements with less than 25 days before my due date. I would definitely NOT recommend this business.

1. The Birth and Wellness Center is a beautiful facility with knowledgeable and friendly staff!

2. I wish that local hospitals would partner with them for increased safety/wellness of patients. As to my knowledge, if there is an emergency during/after delivery with mom or baby, or a last-minute C-section, a 911 call is made, wait for an ambulance, etc.

3. I called and left a message to notify that I would be seeking services elsewhere that fit better for my family, and wanted to pay them for their introductory services. I did not receive a call back. 5 months later I received a notification from my old insurance saying I may be billed for the amount. i don't mind, however I do mind that I was never contacted back by the B&W Center, and feel that was poor business on their part.

Over all, the Birth and Wellness Center is great for many families, just not for mine at this time.
