Delicious Food!
I have been to Kitaro several times and everytime I leave extremely happy and full! The service is always exceptional and the food is always fresh!

This was a wonderful experience. Will go back soon! awesome food

We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait but after 45 minutes and watching 5 tables get seated before us we left. We had two small kids with us that were hungry and the hostess was less than helpful. If we were told to expect a longer wait or if she was honest and said it would be longer when we asked then we wouldn't have been so upset.

Our family celebrates special occasions by going to the habachi part of the restaurant where we can all sit at one habachi table and be entertained by the Japanese cooks. GREAT food. The other side, the restaurant side, has a different menu, with equally great food and a large variety. They are known for their sushi. Our family loves Kitaro's in Ofallon, Mo.

This establishment has great food with a very extensive menu. The only down side was the poor service. This might be attributed to the restaurant just opening and employees being poorly trained. As soon as they get this kink worked out I would give them a 5 out of 5. In the meantime if you are patient then the food is worth the wait.
