Bring your outside voice

I had dinner here Thursday night with friends, to celebrate a new job for a friend in our group. We made reservations before we arrived so we seated immediately. Parking was a bit hard to find so I had to park kind of far away in the parking structure. I think there were a lot of people out celebrating St. Patrick's day.
The place was really loud and I found myself having to yell at the people next to me and across the table for conversations. The place is dimly lit and a little upscale looking, though I found people dressed from casual to a little more dressy.
Our waiter kept on top of us but was a little hard to understand at first as he had an accent. Still, he made recommendations for both food and drink and did a good job.
The food was pretty good. I had a porterhouse steak and baked potato. I'm not sure the quality of food matches the price, but it's pretty close. For dessert, I had some cookie thing with ice cream on top. That was yummy. I could see myself coming back, but maybe a few times a year.

I love this place!

Great steaks...you must try the three beef tenderloins with different sauces. Yes, it's expensive, but about the same as everything else in OakBrook, and the food here is really good. It's a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.
