My Lab was not feeling well so I took it to Oak Hill Animal Hospital. The vet said he thought it was dehydrated. They gave him an IV and kept him overnight. The next morning I went and picked my Lab up, the bill was $550.00. I have taken several pets to Beckley Veterinary Hospital and never got charged that much. Beckley Veterinary Hospital removed Cancer from a Terrier I had and only charged $200. My Dad lives in Beckley and always takes his pets to Beckley Veterinary Hospital. Their prices are reasonable and the Vets are good there. So why does Oak Hill Animal Hospital charge so much more? From now on I will take my pets to Beckley.

I took my rat to be neutered yesterday, Thursday August 28,2014. They doctor was awesome and so nice. She could tell that I was very nervous, as my rats are my babies, so she was very reassuring and talked everything over with me. The price of the neutering was the cheapest I had found after calling 13 vet offices in and near, both Beckley and Charleston. The nuetering only cost fifty dollars including the sedation and pain medication that he would need during the procedure.

The nurse that brought out my baby was so sweet and had a wonderful and joking personality. She handed me the cage so careful. Even though this office is an hour from me, I will be making the drive when I need to just to get the respect and hospitality that my babies deserve.
