Oak Hill High School provides academic education and extracurricular activities to students in grades nine through 12. The school enrolls more than 700 students and is a part of the Fayette County School District. The school s academic curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies, geography and foreign languages with a choice in French and Spanish. It also offers courses in psychology, business, computer applications, journalism and astronomy. Additionally, the school offers advanced placement courses in English, communication skills, advanced accounting and computer programming. Oak Hill High School has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum books, research materials and access to the Internet. The school also offers the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program and organizes various extracurricular activities, such as music, band and choir, and offers student clubs and organizations. Oak Hill High School provides various sports activities, such as basketball, football, golf, cross country, wrestling and tennis. The high school is located in Oak Hill, W.Va.
