Food was fabulous! Had the fried pickles and we took most home because there was so much. Try the BELT…😋#good food

The breakfast was terrible an the service was rotten!!!! We were very disappointed. Needless to say.

Great wait staff, wonderful atmosphere, and amazing food. As an Oak Island resident, I am proud to recommend this place to EVERYONE looking for a place to relax and enjoy wonderful food. Plus the new Chill Bar is awesome.

Wow I cant believe anyone would give this place less than a 5 star rating. I used SJ's for my wedding reception of about 25 people...everyone got their food at the same time, it was all amazing and Blake is super super nice and accomodating!!! We even went back the next day for Sunday brunch which was even more amazing.....The french toast and crawfish quiche is amazing!!!!! i cant wait to return to the island and visit again!!! AWESOME JOB YOU GUYS!!!!!

Have been twice now. Tried several appetizers, including the chicken dip, wings, and the shrimp bites. Food was excellent. I like the a la carte options. Combined a (large) shrimp soft taco for less than $5 with grilled vegetables for less than $2 for a great inexpensive meal. The wait stafff was fine, although it did feel like a new restaurant, with everyone figuring out where to go and what to do. They were slammed at Easter, and we received our food in very acceptable times. Great atmosphere! Nice addition to the island.

As an Oak Island resident, I would like to say that the new restaurant Shagger Jack's looks amazing, but that's where it stops. From that point on, my personal dining experience was terrible. Begining with not recieving the appetizer that I had ordered, or even the salad for that matter. When the entrees came out, I will say that they were good but, it was not what we had ordered. The worst part was the wait staff talking about feet and eating behind the bar, while we waited for our check. Although the food was good, I do not expect to return.
