Provided by YPmobileI came to his office since my regular vet was on vacation and the Dr. was really great with my cat. He took time to pet him and comfort him before he checked him out and I personally never saw my cat so calm at the vets office before he usually ticks his head under my arm for comfort he was really good today. The Dr. was very informative and made really good suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

Provided by YP.comTook my Yorkie there as he was having problems with blood in his stool and vomiting. They did blood work and found out he has a liver problem and recommended specialized food for him. Prior to this I had blood work done at Alsip Animal Hospital and his liver count was high as this vet found out at Oak Lawn, but they never called me or told me about his problem. I could have had a solution for him months ago (March). I stopped going to Alsip Animal Hospital because in March they gave him last year's flu vaccines (2 shot booster) because (in their own words when I found out) "we didn't have this year's vaccine in stock." That is why I went to Oak Lawn and thank God I did!! They found what Alsip didn't -- and fast, too -- in one visit. I will always go to Oak Lawn Animal Hospital from now on!! At Alsip Animal Hospital, (on Yelp) they killed a 4 year-old dog that was in for basic neutering. If you need help for your pet -- I highly recommend Oak Lawn Animal Hospital.

Provided by YPmobileI wouldn't go anywhere else with my pets! I've been with them 25 yrs now and have never been unsatisfied. They are very caring and helpful especially under stressful situations.

Provided by YPmobileMy dog was struck by a car and initially took him to Premire vet service in Crestwood. A few days later I went for follow up treatment at my get at Oaklawn Animal Hospital. I was refused treatment and was told to go back to Premire. Either he was upset that I went to another vet or he is incompetent and doesn't know how to change a dressong or look for signs of infection. Either way I'll be looking for another vet.

Provided by YP.comVery nice and very honest Doctor. I brought puppy in and was seen quickly. Doctor spent time examing her and listening to her heart. He recommended waiting a bit to do innoculations because at 6 wks. she was too young and too stressed due to move from her mom and pack. He gave her a $5.00 worm pill and only charged me for that, he did not charge for the visit. Going back today for her first shots! Would highly recommend. Enter from the back, cut through Foxes/ parking lot. Walk-ins only, no appt. necessary.

Provided by YP.comI've been taking my pets there for about 30 years. The service is always excellent, and the doctors and staff are always friendly and compassionate. I highly recommend them.
