Membership at Grandmaster Yu's is THE BEST! As a veteran of thousands of dollars of unused gym memberships, I know I 've finally found the right membership. The program is carefully created to allow individual development in a class setting. The environment supports the development of physical and mental flexibility and strength. The schedule is reliable and accessible. The camps are phenomenal for developing specific skills - how cool are flying kicks and martial arts weapons? And last but not nearly least, I can train with my kids. I don't have to sit watching them get fit and have fun. We train together and create a family habit of healthy ninja-tude!

Master S. H. Yu's is a true martial arts dojhang. Both my daughters and I are students here. Grand Master Yu is fluent in several forms of martial arts, and the students learn all of the major forms: tae kwon do, karate, kung fu, hapkido, etc. They also have the opportunity to learn weaponry like numchauks, twin sticks, and kumdo - the Korean sword study. But beyond all of these great things, all of the instructors focus on building the whole student - physical, mental and emotional. The emphasis is on self-discipline, respect and self-esteem, not fighting. Their introductory class, called Kinder Karate, for the youngest students, is designed specifically for that age group. As an educator myself, I appreciate all of their efforts to make the classes enjoyable for all age and ability groups. All of their instructors are patient, kind and well-qualified.

Though I have only been learning martial arts for a couple of months, Master Yu has already helped me in so many ways. I started at Master Yu's in November of 2009, and since then have realized a large change in my health and attitude. I would recommend Master Yu to anyone who wants to lead a happier and healthier lifestyle.

CAN I BE IN KARATE PLEASE CAUSE I GET BULLYED ON EVERY DAY AND I WANT TO FIGHT BACK BUT I CANT BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIGHT SO CAN YOU TEACH ME KARATE PLEASE AND I WILL ONLY USE IT FOR SELD DEFENCE
