Founded in 1965, Oak-Leyden Developmental Services provides a range of vocational and residential services for adults, infants and young children with developmental disabilities. The organization also offers various therapy, educational and family support services. Oak-Leyden Developmental Services has received certification from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is a member of Arc of Illinois. It offers early intervention program for children aged birth through 3 and adult life enrichment programs, including residential, vocational and employment services. Oak-Leyden Developmental Services also provides training to improve social, communication and vocational skills.
