I ordered an Ocean Perch fish dinner and it was terrible. The fish wasn't fresh and they cooked it too long . I can't believe they would sell something like that to the public. There customer service sucks.

I went today for 1st time. Got rib tips, greens and cabbage. Rib tips were mostly bones in sauce. Sauce was ok. Greens, cabbage, not so good. Corn bread crumbled. Website had not been updated. Went in for lunch box which said $5.99 after 3pm. Not anymore. Lunch box stops at 3pm. I had only $9 on me, had to scrape together the rest for the $10.99 dinner plus tax. Had money in bank, but they only take cash. Will not rush back.

My daughter told me about this eatery. Since then, I have been back several times. I enjoyed the baked chicken,especially the catfish ,mac and cheese and peach cobbler. I would recommend this eatery for those looking for some good soul food.

Great food. Enjoyed it the first time me and my family try it. Always stop at Mookies when i'm in town.

most excellent food and reasonably pricedi went the first time and started faithfully 2 or 3 times a week the baked chicken and cornbread dressing mac and cheese green beans and potatoes will totally hook you try this restaurant and i gurantee you will be a regular customer and refuse to go any where else for good soul food
