At Mission Beekeeping we specialize in live bee removal and relocation services. After the bees are extracted from your property, they will be placed on a safe location and allowed to thrive. We offer a free estimates and free swarm removals within the Santa Barbara and Ventura County. Hives for sale consists of at least 3 frames of brood (with a solid pattern), frames of honey and at least one frame of pollen. All hives sold are free from any brood diseases. Our queens are bred from Italian VSH stock that I bought in 2013. Our mating yard is in a secluded area, not next to any commercial apiaries, so the drone population is decently controlled. Five frame nucleus colonies: $200 Ten frame deep Langstroth colonies: $280 Availability: Call for more details Owning a hive can be complicated and tedious for new bee owners. Often times, there’s a big learning curve during the first couple of years. To help avoid a loss to your hive, we can provide ALL the onsite care for your colony OR consultation to teach you best practices to care for the colony yourself. Site visits can be set up on an “as needed” basis or by paying an annual fee. Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties: $75 per visit or $350 per year Los Angeles County: $125 per visit or $500 per year (Annual fee includes a free replacement colony if your colony dies)
