Candy's Beauty Island is the best hair salon in Oakland. They use all black owned products, so African Americans really benefit from the shampoo's and conditioner's specifically produced for their hair. I have been a customer for 18 years and have never seen an unsatisfied customer. When you go to this shop you will leave with bouncy shiny silky healthy hair. Candy is wonderful. She explains to you your hair type and how to get and keep your hair healthy. If you ever need your hair done this is the place to go. Go in and ask for Candy.
