Paul was thorough and accurate. He made the process so much simpler than my old preparer. And the best part is that my fee at the old preparer was $220 and Paul only charged me $150 ..

Convenient and very reasonably priced .. I used to go into the office, but now I send them my info by email and they return the prepared returns to me by email... very convenient .. also, Paul has a lot of financial experience and is more than willing to give advice on investing topics if you want.

I used to do my taxes myself. Here is how it went. Buy turbo tax for $50. Install it. Do the updates. Relearn the silly software that I only use once a year. Read up on the new tax laws to see if anything pertains to me. Answer all of the silly turbo tax questions. Input all my info. Review it. Do the federal efiling. Get pissed that turbo tax wants to charge me more for state efiling, so I print it and take it to the post office. A trip I feel like I shouldn't have to make? Then I sit around anxiously waiting to see if the efiling was accepted. Whole process took one whole day.



Then two years ago I got smart. I went to Paul. I gave him my stuff, in and out in 35 minutes. Total cost $85. Then I went hiking in Wildcat Canyon.



Now I ask you, which would you choose? Waste a whole day of your life doing taxes, or take a hike in a beautiful bay area park?



That's a no brainer to me.



I make my appointment for 9am, spend half an hour or so watching Paul do my taxes, then I go directly for my hike. Sure I can go for a hike other days, but knowing that I am hiking INSTEAD of doing my taxes makes it really really special!!!!!!!!
