Havenscourt Middle School enrolls more than 170 students in grades six through eight and offers instructional programs for the intellectual, physical, social and ethical development of students. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, fine arts, foreign languages, social studies, mathematics, health and physical education and science. The school provides academic counseling, classroom guidance and financial assistance to students. It additionally offers professional development programs for staff members. Located in Oakland, Calif., Havenscourt Middle School has been operational for more than 70 years and is a part of the Oakland Unified School District.
