In operation for over 50 years, The Hollis Hills Jewish Center is an egalitarian congregation. Located in Flushing, N.Y., it lays emphasis on learning and prayer with daily minyan, along with conducting candle lighting, Bar Mitzvah, Torah reading and Shabbat services. The synagogue manages a nursery and a Hebrew school as well as life-long learning adult education programs. It also offers youth groups, a men s club and a sisterhood. The Hollis Hills Jewish Center serves the community in northeast Queens and neighboring areas.
