Three months ago at the beginning of May, we had this company do a move out cleaning of one of our rental homes. The cleaning was adequate, though far from perfect as they missed a few obvious things. Fast forward to last week and I called the company again and spoke with Patricia about cleaning the same property again. Tenants were only in the house for two months and during the month of July, 3 of the bathrooms and the kitchen were completely remodeled. When I was on the phone with Patricia to schedule the appointment, we went over what the price would be to clean the home once more. I had the receipt from the prior cleaning and told her the circumstances regarding new bathrooms and a kitchen and expected the price to be at most of what I paid before, if not less, since the bathrooms and kitchen did not need thorough cleaning as they had the last time since they were brand-new. The prior cleaning cost $145.



I was told that the crew would be at the rental home between 12 and 1 PM. At 1:40 PM, my husband, who was at the home to let them in, told me that they still had not arrived. He left the home to run other errands since the new tenants were there to let the cleaning crew when they did arrive. When he returned and the crew had finished working, he asked how much he owed them and they told him $250. Unfortunately, I had not told him our prior agreed-upon price and he paid them cash. They did not give him a receipt. When he returned home and told me how much he was charged, I was outraged that the amount was $105 more than the max that I expected it to be! I immediately called Patricia to speak with her about this and she proceeded to tell me that she told me that it would probably be more money and that I had agreed to that. That was a blatant lie! My husband got on the phone with her to try to reason with her and ask for a refund. She refused. When he mentioned that he would get on yelp and give her an unsatisfactory review, she said to just go ahead and do whatever you want. She then went on to accuse him of sexual harassment of one of her employees! She is on believable! I will never, ever, ever use or recommend this cleaning company! They are the worst!

I just used California Clean Team for the first time and was very happy with them. They did an EXCELLENT job, (way more than i expected) for a very reasonable price. I would definately use them again. I am reffering them to friends and family. These guys are a safe bet!!
