I just got the VIP all inclusive membership...I get to use all tanning beds and the VersaSpa. This place is impressive. I am so happy oakwood finally has a nice place to tan!

I am 32 years old and I had never tanned before joining Beyond Bronze. I am very fair skinned and burn easily. I was very afraid to tan at first but I was going on a cruise and my sister told me that tanning before I went out in the sun would help me not burn as quickly while on the cruise. I took her advice and went here because they are close to my home and work. When I first walked in, I was surprised at how clean and professional they were. I had a lot of questions about tanning and the staff was patient and informative. I took a skin type quiz and then decided to start tanning that day. We took extra precautions so that I could build my tan slowly. They told me it was good that I came in 2 months before my cruise so I could slowly build color. I had no idea how true this was. I got tanner than I ever have in the sun and didn't burn! I just got back from my cruise and I didn't burn once in the sun either! I guess my sister gave me good advice...and I'm glad I went here. They helped me feel comfortable with this new experience. I will be returning to tan here next year for my vacation.

I went into this place after seeing an ad at my college. I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. I am new to the area and have yet to see any tanning places that were this nice...and I love to tan! Anyway, I thought the staff was very professional and the tanning beds were very nice. I brought my friend in and we each got monthly memberships. We will definitely be renewing our memberships here.

I started a one month membership on Monday. I completed a skin quiz and the results were that I'm Level 2, quite fair and initially burn. In fact, I told the tanning technician (Lisa) that I hadn't had any sun exposure this summer and always burn first. Lisa suggested I start with nine minutes in the bed. I took her advice. Unfortunately, my back and fanny were severely burned and I am still suffering three days later; my clothes hurt to touch my back and rear end. I called yesterday (Wednesday) to tell Lisa that I was burned and didn't expect to be able to tan for at least two or three more days. I asked if she would suspend my membership for the approximately 5 days that I am unable to tan. After a few phone calls, Lisa resolved that they would do nothing but that I was welcome to come up and buy some burn relief cream ($17), which she suggested twice during our conversation. I expressed my disappointment and she still chose to do nothing. As a new business, if they want customer loyalty, they should be loyal to their customers. That is, if I burn severely because of your advice, perhaps it's a good idea to work with me on a solution rather than focusing on selling me more products. When my one-month membership ends, I will not renew.

All in all this salon is really good. Since I haven’t tanned in a while they wouldn’t let me tan for as long as I wanted so after the first time I didn’t feel like I had tanned. Since my skin didn’t burn the first time, they put me in longer the second time. The beds have new bulbs and are really hot so I didn’t mind only going in for a few minutes at first. I think I am going to love tanning here.

Nice staff, nice beds. I went in for the 5 for $5 deal and I am impressed. I did the level 2 bed twice and the level 3 bed once. I have nice color from only 3 times. I can’t wait to see my color after 5 visits.

I am an avid tanner, and I just moved to the area from Atlanta. I have been trying to find a nice clean place to tan with good equipment. I have definitely found this at Beyond Bronze. Their beds have new technology, and everything is really clean. I went in the level 4 perfecting bed and it was AWESOME! I could see results after the first time I tanned here. I can’t wait for Spring, I am going to be SO dark.

Wow!! These beds are so cool! They light up and change colors, and are really pretty. The girl who checked me in knew a lot about the beds and the lotions. I have never tanned before and they were so helpful to make sure I didn’t get burnt.
