Provided by YP.comThis place is horrible! The sales guy tell you anything and lie to make a sale. The extended warranty covers literally nothing. We had a blow out 50 miles after pulling out of Camping World. The warranty and roadside assistance would not help us or pay a dime to fix all the damage. I would steer clear of this place.

I purchased a 2014 toyhauler from an individual. She had purchased it just 10 months earlier from Camping World in Oakwood,GA. All of the Camping World documents listed the unit as a 2014 model. I verified the info with them. After I purchased the unit I discovered that it is actually a 2013 model. The unit lost approximately $2000-$3000 in value. After some checking I found that this unit had been sold at 2 other dealers in 2 separate states and it had been titled correctly as a 2013. How could Camping World make this kind of mistake. Is it really a coincidence that Camping World mis titled this unit and financed it??? They sold it as a 2014 but they would never take it as a 2014 on trade. How convenient. I called corporate 20 times in 45 days and their answer is....all used units are “Sold As Is”. It is the buyers responsibility to verify the information....WOW

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Kept my new unit for warranty work for over three weeks with no progress. Could not get a return call from anyone; when I talked with anyone, no follow through at all. Picked up the unrepaired unit since we had a trip planned; Service Manager said to check over since he did not know if they had put it back together! Had to complete reassembly myself. Parts finally arrived after 6 weeks; took unit back today and one of the parts had been ordered incorrectly. Another 10 hours invested in travel and wait time and still no completed repair.....
After speaking with every level of management it was apparent that no one including the Service Director or the General Manager shows any interest in doing anything about the many problems I described to them. "The speed of the gang is the speed of the leader" adage certainly applies at this location.
Stay away is my advice.

Provided by YPmobileMy husband and i bought a beautiful 2005 Fleetwood Pace Arrow in Nov 2015 at the Woodstock location and had a good experience but the leveling jacks were bad when we got home and because we are closer to the Oakwood location we took it there to get serviced and get fixed. They got the RV on Dec 5, 2015 and we still do not have it and it is January 20, 2016. We have made uber phone calls to get information on the RV and so far they have misplaced it, told us they were checking on the water pump (that was not even supposed to be checked on) come to find out they gave us the wrong information for the wrong RV. They wouldn't return phone calls and finally we went up there and they were just sitting on some paperwork that could have been done without us there and been done already. We are at our wits end with these people and want our RV back fixed. I suggest if you want your RV fixed or serviced to NOT take it to this facility cause you WILL get the run around and never get it back!!!

Provided by YP.comNot a good place to do business with! I was interested in a popup camper that was listed on their site. I was invited to check availability and ask any questions before spending time driving to take a look. One of my main questions...."Does it have trailer brakes?". Answer, "Yes.". Another question... "Is there any damage to the unit?". Again, "No, everything is good.". We drive 3 hours to find out that the unit had a lot of problems. One thing I wanted to do... take if for a short drive. No, they wouldn't allow that unless I was willing to buy first. Not only did it NOT have trailer brakes, but several other problems were found during the inspection, another thing that would not be done until I had signed the purchase paperwork. Well, I was just about willing to accept all of the many faults but when I found that there were no brakes, I went ballistic! The only good things about this place is that the inspector was honest about the problems and the GM gave us our check back. Still, we .wasted a whole day and a tank of gas. Try someplace else!!

Provided by YP.comCan I give a minus stars rating for Camping World in Oakwood? Service department is inefficient and does not do what they say they will do. Early in July we called to inquire about taking our RV in for repairs and gave them a 7 week lead time before we needed it back, we were told we could not bring it in until the end of July. We took it to them on July 29 again stating we needed it back by August 21, still plenty of time to make repairs. Called after 1 week, they had done oil change and fixed jack stands but told other work would have to go to another dept. for assessment and warranty work. Called and emailed 1 week later, no response. Husband went by to check on it and was told that they had not checked anything further and could not guarantee our repair date. Also said that the appt. my husband made for end of July was to drop the RV off, not to have work done to it. That it would be another week before they would look at it, which would only give a little over a week to assess, work with warranty company, then order parts and make the repairs. When my husband pushed back and asked for the manager, they had words and the manager told him to get his "stuff" and get out. We picked up our RV immediately and will be filing complaints about their service and customer service. I have seen many posts where this same manager has told people to not darken their doors again. HOW are they still in business or is he still employed??? In today's economy there are too many good and qualified people out there looking for jobs.
