Have done business with this company for several years. Experts at what they do. Wouldn't even consider calling anyone else. The negative postings are the furthest thing from the truth. Great people and good businessmen. I highly recommend them.

On 8-06-09 I was working on a job at a local horse farm builing a new house. Kalfs Crane Service was hired to set the roof trusses. I was handing a pintel hook to my boss, on top of a stack of trusses when without warning Randy Kalf (owner) lifted the cranes cable attached to the truss I was standing on. I was struck by a approx. 50ft. truss , the metal plate on the truss stuck my leg causing a large 2 inch deep gash and knee injuries so severe that total knee replacement is now needed. After striking me Kalfs drove the crane away and proceded to move several more trusses before getting off the crane to see my injuries. Although workers comp paid a portion of my wages, Kalfsrefuses to provide the name of their insurance co., so that a claim can be started against Kalf. I am permanently disabled by Kalfs negligence. His dangerous actions in operating his crane on 8-06-09 can be compared to someone firing a gun at a target while another person was setting up the target. Jeff Compson

Outside of one or two very nice, respectful workers this group is utterly the most obnoxious, rude and incompetent bunch I have ever had the distinction of encountering. One old man (blue eyes, grey hair, very short) literally got an inch from my face yelling at me. Sloppy workmanship, horrible manners, aggressive and hostile. Avoid this group at ALL cost! This is the type of company that gives a bad name to the service industry....intimidating, threatening, physically confrontative. What more can I say...avoid them if you can! The company hires workers that have no right being around the public especially older women where at least one older man attempted to physically intimidate by getting within an inch of my face, refusing to leave the property and so forth. He should be immediately fired - not left to use scare tactics, physical intimidation and overt confrontation and hostility.
