An authentic Cuban restaurant, family owned and operated. Using family’s 85yrs. old recipes with integrity, passion and dedication. Our mother coming to America in 1967 bringing with her all of hers and family’s recipes to one day open her restaurant in America like the one she was forced to leave behind in Cuba. A few years later she was able to start her own restaurant back in NJ, but years also later she had to retire due to health issues, but remained behind the scenes always, and always had to put her 2cts. in she did up until she passed away, and yes most of our style, recipes and way of cooking all came from her. Since moving to Ocala and starting this humble Mom & Pop restaurant we’ve dedicated to Mom. So remember if Cuban flavor is what you want then Latin American Cafe it’s where it’s at.
