My husband and I loved Lee's Chicken but after the last two times we went there, we have decided to go elsewhere!!!! I went there for the lunch special and got there before 2 p.m. and stood in line behind other customers. I didn't mind waiting, but when it was my turn the big woman there started screaming at me that the Lunch Special was OVER!!! What!!!??? It was NOT over, she was just being a snot. Well, I left and called to reach out to the owner, but s/he never called me back. They must not care about poor customer service!!!! I looked at both my phone and the clock inside my car when I got back to my car, and both said 2:02 p.m., which meant that I got there way before 2 p.m . and they should have given me the lunch special. Well, I called, they told me to go back in and said the manager would "honor" the lunch special. Big deal! It was now 2:30 p.m. and all they did was waste my time. They could have cared less.

Then weeks later I went back in and the big woman was not in. However, when I asked for the Sunday special (it was Sunday), the woman started screaming at me that the lunch special was over. I said I was not talking about the lunch special, I was talking about the Sunday Special. She said, "Oh, okay," and made the price adjustment. The manager looked at me and must have remembered me from the other problem they created, and he gave me extremely small pieces of legs and thighs -- the pieces looked like they were from a rock Cornish hen or a pigeon!! When I complained, he gave me two extra (small) thighs saying that was all they had! I left and vowed NEVER TO RETURN!

Message to Lee's owner: You can't care enough about your customers to call them back, but you may care when you hear that Popeye's Chicken is opening right on the other side of 75 in Ocala. They are almost done building and will be opening soon!!! I will be more than happy to take my business there from now on as I have received crappy attitude service from your employees for long enough!

Best fried chicken I've eaten outside if home made. Delicious!!!

finally tiring of calling to check on chicken at lees in dayton on n.dixie drive,calls are hung up on and when you go after chicken they are either out or standing around talking not botheringto try and help anyone,next visit watch the poor service you recieve and dont bother to call they have personal calls that come first,better off to find you another place to order cjhicken from since manager hangs up too cant keep people who want to work
