They neglected My Mother by not giving her a bath every two weeks hair was matted like a big ball in the back of her head made a bed sore that got infected really bad I wouldn't feed the food to my dog cold has no taste nasty Place cockroaches everywhere while you're visiting see I'm running down the rail they said there are everywhere in every nursing home you called ask about your mother they put you on hold never get back with you won't answer the phone after they know your number the place is a real scam do not send your loved one there if you love them!!!

My mother was here for several months. While the rehab was excellent the nursing staff was very negligent. They would simply ignore my mother's needs unless a family member was there to oversee the request. In all of those months I visited daily and never saw a doctor. When I requested to speak to one they told me he comes very early. I arrived at 5am and waited until 5pm finally having to leave to eat. NO DOCTOR! Unfortunately my father is here now and the conditions are the same. The only time they want to talk to you is about insurance or bills

I would never recommend this facility to anyone. The nursing staff lacks basic assessment skills resulting in negligent care. In addition to serious health issues which developed and went unnoticed by nursing staff, my family member developed a bed sore, which is completely preventable, due to lack of care. Administration is ineffective. I am very grateful my family member is no longer in this facility but my heart aches for the residents who remain.

If you are caring and loving for a friend or family member I don't suggest this facility. My motherinlaw has been in this facility for a number of years and we just transfered to another facility. That had to be the best decision we had ever made. After seeing the facility go down hill in our eyes over the years we decided to transfer her to another place and then the problems began.

To start off her health had deteriated and UTI"s were way to frequent. Cloths missing, personel takeing stuff, weight loss and hearing aids seem to come and go and turn up broken.

We requested her records which we had to as the State to assist. Then to get her hearing aids replaced took app. 4 months. Missing DR's appointments and having to threaten to call 911 was becoming to frequent.

Since we transfered her to another facility she has gained 10 lbs and her spirits are great. Did I mention she is 93 years old and diserved better than OAKHURST provided
