I took my animal here on Saturday after being attacked by another dog. When I could not afford the $745.00 estimate, they came back with a $545.00 estimate leaving off the Xrays they demanded he needed. I agreed to pay the $95.00 emergency consultation fee and asked to have my pet returned to me so we could leave. I paid my bill but refused to sign a release... THEY threatened to call the police since I would not sign a release and then threatened to call Animal Cruelty in my county to let them know I did not treat my dog. I took my dog to a vet in my county on Monday.. THE BILL WAS $176.00!! MY dog is good as new and even got a rabies shot included in that amount!! EMERGENCY VETS are a rip off!! If anyone was cruel to my dog, it was this emergency hospital who decided that I looked like I could afford the rent on their "crack house" looking hospital. INSTEAD of performing the job I asked to be done so that I could get my dog home to our county to be taken care of.... THEY did NOTHING

My cat became very sick one weekend and his vet is closed on weekends. I was so very thankful to find Ocala Animal Emergency Hospital. They took him right in and found the problem. He was on the mend very quickly. I could not have asked the doctor or staff to be any more caring. It gives me such peace of mind to know that they are there for after hours care.
