I have coverage through my Insurance and they will not work with you regarding payment ...meaning they will not bill your insurance that covers support hose. I had orders from the doctor and proof of insurance.

This place has one of the WORSE and rudest pharmacist I've ever seen !! I've been using this pharmacy since I was a child and Harold use own it and NEVER had a problem when Harold owned it but since Pam has bought this pharmacy I've seen a a Huge decline in service by allowing and keeping their current pharmacist and pleaseeeeeee contact me and I'll explain several situations myself and others have gone through by this RUDE pharmacist and I called the owner Pam and she isn't going to address his conduct or behavior and I'll never step foot into this pharmacy as well many my friends have had serious issues with this current make pharmacist !!! Very friendly staff and a great variety of medical equipment along with all the pharmacy offers. If there is something your looking for but they don't have in the store, they try to find the item to special order it. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

Don't believe all these bad reviews..I too was dreading going to this store. So when I arrived, I told them all the bad things i had read on this page..They were very helpful, smiling ..We found several things with help..Paid and were out of the store in 20 minutes. Even spoke with the manager..Try this store out..it's good...

This will make my third time going to Bittings,I enjoyed looking at all the drifferent things in the store. The employees were super nice to me and very helpfull,look forward to going back! Thanks Bittings for being here!! Diane

I have gone to Bittings on and off for 8 year's. The service is horrible and once you do get any help they make you feel like you need to hurry up and get out. Don't expect any smiles or I will be with you in just a little bit. The woman that works in the front with another male is exceptionally rude and has a mean look on her face. I will try not to give them anymore of my business.

i called with questions about compression stockings i needed, and was told i needed to be measures and could not run over on my lunch hour because they would be at lunch too and could not come by at 5 pm because they leave at 3 so i went to Francks on my lunch hour and transaction was completed in ten minutes including the measuring and instructions.

Although I miss Harold, since he retired, the other Pharmacists do a good job, as well! There is a huge difference in doing business with people who know you! Pam is great and has always responded, quickly, to any issues I have had. So, support locally owned businesses and you will see how much better the service is!

Have been dealing with Bittings over 17 years. They are the best when it comes to hometown pharmacy in Ocala. Been to the other one's to try them out and they can't even add and subtract correctly and mess up prescriptions. I would highly recommend Bittings over the box pharmacies any day!!!
