Medicare only pays for glasses AFTER cataract surgery. When they do pay, they pay for limited products. If you want "no-line" bifocals, transitions, non-glare...YOU have to pay for it even if you are using your own frames. Do your homework people. You can't get champange on a beer budget and you always have the right to say no.

Maybe let Obama know that Medicare doesn't pay for your glasses..... Hope and change you can believe in!!!! Maybe he will send you a stimulus check to help ocala's economy!!!!

why does it cost a medicare patient who pays a $25 co-pay an additional $355 for a set of lenses for his/her glasses even though he/she is reusing his/her frames? how much does the company that makes the lenses charge? what is a reasonable profit? should i voice my concern to the powers that be ? state and federal?
