I have been taking my dog and rabbits to this clinic for over 2 years and although we relocated we still use this clinic for our animals. We have had emergencies and regular visits and the staff here are professional, the prices are very fair and the experience of both Veterinarians are above and beyond!

I would highly recommend South Ocala Animal Clinic. The doctors are caring and knowledgeable. Their staff is pleasant and helpful. I have a good feeling taking my pets there for care. They are the best.

We boarded our 2 dogs this Christmas at South Ocala Animal Clinic- and we are most impressed with the oversized runs and immaculate odor free environment. The staff were great and played with them in the exercise yard every day! John and Robin A.

I am new to the Ocala area, and after passing by South Ocala Animal Clinic a few times I decided to stop in to see if this would be a good fit for me and my pets. I was very pleased the moment I stepped in the door. I was welcomed with a smile and after meeting both vets I was also offered a tour of their clinic and boarding facilities. CLEANEST VET CLINIC EVER! I recommend them to all of my family and friends.

I would highly recommend South Ocala Animal Clinic to all my family and friends. The entire staff is wonderful and the doctors go above and beyond to make sure my fur babies are well taken care of. The boarding facilities are wonderful and the whole clinic is always very clean. I would honestly wouldn't want any of my animals going anywhere else except South Ocala Animal Clinic!!!

I definitely recommend South Ocala Animal Clinic to family, friends and new Ocala residents looking for the right Dr to care for your pets. Dr. Kevin Stoothoff and staff are friendly, caring and highly skilled. Dr. Kevin performed emergency surgery and saved my Charlie's life recently when he discovered he had a foreign object in his belly that had lodged in his intestines. Dr. Kevin and staff were so compassionate and kind to me and my family during such a difficult time. I wouldn't trust my precious pets to anyone else. -Tara & Charlie

I highly recommend Dr. Stoothoff and Dr. Dowd to my neighbors and friends. The front staff ensure that I receive all manufacturer rebates for the products I purchase. Two years ago their laser therapy helped my Dashshund walk again after being paralyzed.

This vet is expensive, however so are all of the other vets in town at least with this one I followed the program he set up for Boomer and after just about a month his problems have disappeared. The others just wanted to shoot him up with steroids, Dr Kevin has Boomer acting like a puppy again instead of an old half dead dog. I will be taking my other dog there for her regular check up. Thank God for Dr Kevin and his staff is wonderful, very caring sweet people.

Your pet will need every test he can think of and all will probably be neg as were mine. No product is good enough unless it comes from his office, food, flea and tick medicine, dog collar, etc etc. He then tries to scare you into thinking if you don't get everything from his office that he recommends then you will be making a huge mistake. Your house will be infested with fleas and ticks and your animal will die prematurely. If your willing to just open your wallet and let him rack up the bill he's probably a good vet, your dog will want for nothing. Good luck in finding an ethical vet that doesn't do the same. They'd do heart surgery on you 15 yr old dog if you'd agree to it. They play on your don't you love your do emotion.

I disagree strongly with the other two reviews. I have been using SOAC for a few years now and have never seen this rude and money hungry staff the other two speak of. I board my pets there and have never had a single problem. Dr Kevin has come in at 3 in the noting for my dog more than once and I recommend this vet to all my friends and family.

Our small poodle has been cared for by Dr. Stoothoff since he has been at this clinic, and has been boarded at this clinic several times each year during the 5 years we have lived in Ocala. We have always been very pleased with the good care our pet has received.

The absolute best vet in town, hands down! The truly do care about ALL animals that come under their care. 5 stars!!

Very unfriendly office. On my last visit Dr. Dowd noticed a clouding on my dog’s eye and told me she would do some investigating and call me back as to what it might be. I never heard from her. They care more about money than they do about animals. They charge for everything, even to have a prescription filled elsewhere. I will not be taking any of my pets there ever again.
