I booked with this hotel on the 4th of July ,due to the rain I wanted to switch to the following weekend and was not allowed nor a refund. Totally disappointed......

After me and my friends drove hours to get there , we went to check in and the owners informed us of random new fees we had to pay ( $100 security deposit plus $50 per person staying In the room plus $98 charge that I wasn't even informed of ) the room was supposed to be $330 for two nights but then we get there and they charged is way more than that . Not even 10 minutes after getting into our room we get evicted . Apparently there's a no guest policy which we were never informed of and because ONE of our friends helped is carry in our bags the owners evinced us with no refund or anything we didn't even fully unpack the car and we had to turn around and go home . Not to mention when we asked simple questions about why we were getting evicted the owners gave us attitude and threatened to call the cops for no reason also the owners daughter tried to fight my friend when she asks door Her money back she got in her face and told her she was gonna have us arrested , all of this just because a friend was helping us carry in our bags . Tons of extra fees , waisted gas and hours of driving and a completely ruined vacation not to mention rude staff unclean and rundown rooms , this was a terrible experience I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

They took my credit card info to make fraudulent charges. With all the other options available in Ocean City, don't stay here!!!!

As of January 2013, the Ocean Lodge Hotel is under New Management. Thank you for the feedbacks. They are very helpful as they guide our management into the necessary corrections of the last season's operation. We are truly sorry for all clients who were disappointed with the former management's performance. However, we would like to encourage everyone to come again. Ocean Lodge New Management

It's not even the cheapest , It is the worst hotel I have ever been in !!! No fitted sheets and mattresses are covered in plastic bed protectors. Tryed to take it off and mattresses are deplorable stains everwhere. Itched the whole time I was there..... spent a ton of money on bedbug spray.. not saying they have them but just in case... my advice keep looking this place is BAD ... oh yeah no refunds ... everything is written as they want in sharpie...
