Let me start off by saying, I never leave reviews. I read them all the time, and I rely upon them when I travel. Sometimes, you have to write a review because the service you are given is above and beyond any expectation you could hold. My story goes that I was driving to Ocean Isle Beach, and meeting my parents, brother, and aunt who were flying into Wilmington and catching a shuttle provided by Beaches Taxi. Through a series of unfortunate events – all caused by their own mistake – they missed their flight. In fact, they had to split up to even get to the Wilmington airport. I explained the situation to Harry (employee), and he let me know that Randy (the owner) was going to pick them up. I felt terrible because my family was travelling stand-by, and thus exact flight information was hard to come by. My parents and aunt were able to get into Wilmington, but my brother was delayed four hours!! Throughout this, Randy was a God send. He stayed at the airport, and made sure that my family was able to be reunited. My father, who has some health concerns, was extremely tired and his legs were swollen from the long journey. Randy spoke to me on the phone and assured me that there was no way he was going to leave my family. He promised to deliver them no matter what it took. I was to the point of tears thinking about the sacrifice he was making to reunite my family and bring us all together. If you are looking for a shuttle or ride around the Ocean Isle Beach area, look no further. I’m sure there are other options out there that are good, but Randy and his team are unmatched. Five stars are not enough to say thank you. So if you are reading this… stop. Use these guys. I will every time I need a shuttle service. Truly amazing. Thank you, Randy and Beaches Taxi.

Thank you for providing reliable service. My taxi arrived on time and the vehicle was well maintained and exceptionally clean. The driver was polite, familiar with the area, and professional. I will use again in the future!

We ran out of gas and called Sandy at Beaches Taxi at 11:00 PM asking for a lift to the gas station. She sent Randy out and he did one better...he brought gas! :-) We were on the road in no time! Thanks Jay and Sandy!

Have multiple times called this taxi service for rides and they never show. Happened for the third time on New Years Eve! I called three times and was told the taxi was coming and I would be called when he was there. We ended up walking to the resturant in the cold and for the rest of the night never recieved a call... Which means they never came.......

If you are looking for taxi service that is clean, friendly and running on time, these guys are the best.

We used this service last week when we were on vacation. They picked us up on time they were polite and the taxi was clean. Call them so you don't drink and drive.
