We are a nonprofit, all-volunteer radio station and are licensed by the Federal Communications Commission as a low-power ( 100 watt ) FM ( frequency modulation ) station with an assigned frequency of 91.3 MHz ( megahertz ). Christmas Humbug

I've been listening to this station ever since I moved here a few months ago. I enjoy the stations' classical format. I am surprised that the station doesn't play any Christmas music, at least everytime I've listened. There are hundreds of old classic recordings of Christmas music available.

Yesterday, December 20th, the first reference to Christmas I heard was an article suggesting that Santa Claus is a bad role model.

Now I can agree that he is overweight, but suggesting that he flies around drunk is going too far. Many other characteristics suggested have nothing to do with the way Santa is portrayed in countless movies, books, and even advertisements.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this radio station appears to be against Christmas altogether. I for one am disgusted with the never ending "politcally correct" effort to kill all our cherished traditions, religion, and freedoms.

Short of an adjustment in this radio station's play list, I will discontinue listening and suggest the same to friends, family, and anyone else who is interested in local broadcast choices.
