I was referred to Bay Area ENT by my doctor. I saw Dr. Weiss. He was very rude. As I started to tell him the history of my problem, he cut me off and told me, “Let me stop you right there. I don’t need you to waste my time or yours. I don’t need to know your history.” Then he continues telling me I need to go to New Orleans, or Jackson, or Mobile, only to end up saying he recommends therapy in Ocean Springs. I was clearly upset because I started crying. I was so embarrassed by the way he talked down to me. So, he ended our visit by saying, “I’m sorry I pissed you off, but I have been a doctor for a long time and sometimes forget about the patients’ feelings.” I will NEVER go back to Bay Area ENT. I will also let the referring physician know how I was treated.
