Provided by YP.comThe staff is very professional and well trained. We have a miniature schnauzer and took him to Pet Connection for his annual vet checkup as well as grooming. We could not be more pleased and he was happy when we arrived to get him. We have now scheduled him for boarding and have no concerns that he will be well cared for while we are away. I highly recommend them!

Provided by YP.comThis is a comprehensive veterinary clinic.
Parking is adequate and you can get your animal safely inside without problem.
Reception is smallish (aren't they all). Staff very friendly, attentive and efficient.
The Technicians and Veterinarians are professional and very competant.
Boarding facility is large and a tad noisy, but clean and well-run.
Pricing is average for the area.
Suggestion: All vets, here and elsewhere could be more receptive to 1-800 petmeds and others. I think you could gain more than you lose.
Overall, this is an excellent choice for your pet care and boarding.

Provided by YP.comWe brought our American Eskimo in for a shampoo and pedicure and asked to have the fur on his rear trimmed a little. When we picked him up, he was UNRECOGNIZABLE! The stupid groomer had given him a Marine-style BUZZ-CUT! For the first time in his life, he is going to be cold during the winter. I cannot fathom how someone can be so stupid. It will take at least 6 months for his fur to grow out. We will never take him back here again. These people are absolutely unreliable. When I asked the groomer why she did this to my dog, she said she had only "tidied him up." This was her idea of "tidying him up." She cut off all of his rear fur, and most of his ruff, and left his hindquarters in something like a poodle cut. AVOID THIS PLACE. They are stupid beyond belief.

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I have used the facilities of The Pet Connection in Ocean Springs for over 4 years. We find their staff to be friendly and very helpful during stressful times. We find the Vets on staff and their technicians to always respond professionally to our concerns. We have 10 cats and we would not trust our animals to any other office. Twice they have identified and treated diseases/problems that were life-threatening and that I know would have been missed by other vet offices we have seen in the past. When we have to put an animal down they are caring and loving explaining carefully why it is time to let go and allowing us to spend our last minutes with the animal. They also follow up with sympathy cards and flowers to our home. We have lived in this area for over 25 years and cared for many animals. The Pet Connection has been a bright spot in our daily lives with all our cats.

Provided by YP.comJust the other day I had to do the thing that no one wants to do, put my cat to sleep, she was old and we think she was in kidney failure. The technicans when I went to drop her off asked me if I would be back for her, and I told them yes. I called that afternoon to make sure everything was going as planned, the older lady that answered the phone said, " We have taken care of your cat, she is waiting for you here in a bag, in her crate." I very upset at this asked them to please put her in a different container, a coffin box, or something. No one wants to see their companion animal in a bag. I went to pick her up that afternoon, went in the front door only one of five technicans spoke to me, the rest carried on their conversation. When the one that went to get my cat came back, she plainly handed me a very small box, and her carrying crate, said nothing else. No compassion, no sympathy, no empathy. You would think a veterinary hospital, would have "animal people", I wasn't expecting a big funeral or something, just the common cuertosy of an apology or an acknowlegdement of me being there, and the circumstances of what had happened that day. I have 2 other animals, I will NEVER get anything else, treatment or otherwise, from that hospital.
