Provided by YPmobileI remember going to this place and the food be outstanding and the price be reasonable. Me and my wife always get the sampler and it jumbo. It was usually around 23 dollars. It was almost double. For sides that was suppose to be on the side, a different tasting BBQ sauce, hard macaroni shells and no where near the food that we got before. It wasn't worth it. If I wanted to spend 38 dollars on food, I would have went to a restaurant where they wait on you. Not once did someone come check on us. We won't be back. Their excuse for the price being so high was a different type of meat. Well the meat we got had a lot of fat.

Provided by YPmobileNever eaten at a place quite like this one. Greatest BBQ ever. Will be back each time we are in the area.

Provided by YPmobileI've heard many people say it's gone downhill since gaining popularity. My only experience is their disgusting catering. I've been to 2 events that served it and it was just awful both times. if you don't like the sauce, you'll hate it. The BBQ was dry. The servers were rude. The sides are bought from Sysco. I prefer BBQ that doesn't need any alteration and this was not what I was looking for.

Provided by YP.comI gotta say, the sauce is what makes this place. The meat was tender and good too. I was not very impressed with the sides though. I mean, I know it is all about the meat to some people, but my family and I love the sides that go along with them. Their coleslaw was awful! We could not try the macaroni salad because they were out on a Sunday night at 5:00 pm! We did write on our table, which was nice and memorable. There was a band playing too, which is a plus if you like live entertainment. There is a lot of history at this place, and boy are you reminded of it when you look on the walls. It is one of those things where you either find it charming or tacky. I was more on the tacky side, but only because taping dollar bills to a wall and post cards, etc. just doesn't seem right to me. We did take home a few bottles of the sauce, and we may order more on the internet. All in all, it's a fun family experience that I would recommend at least once for everyone.

Provided by YP.comExcellent BBQ, ribs (several kinds), beef brisket, pulled pork (my fav), sausage, chicken and great sides, too! Their baked potato salad is my fav!
A truly unique restaurant with a great story behind it! Live blues music on Fri and Sat and sometimes on Thurs., too! Can't make it then, don't worry, the blues are played the entire time they are open. Very relaxed atmosphere, plenty of seating outside. Can eat inside but not as much room there. Quick service............we ate there 3 times in 10 days. Just couldn't get enough of The Shed! You have to try it..........it's even worth a drive if you don't live in Ocean Springs!
