This is my first ever review and this place truly deserves a good one. I had no idea what to expect and thought I'd try their brisket against a local joints on Highway 57. The beans are truly off the hook, the brisket has just the right smoke, the fries are hand cut and have one hell of a flavor. The best part was the portions....... 4 large slices of brisket, so much that I could hardly touch the fries. Next time I'll ask them for a side of slaw (not listed as one but a small portion comes with the meal) and skip the fries.



Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome BBQ! Don't change a thing!

The atmosphere and food are great!! All the food is fresh, not frozen, and they have everything from unique hamburgers like the Macho Nacho Burger, that are ground fresh in the restaurant, to fish taco's made with Tilapia. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant! You won't be disappointed!

was curious to see what the old castaways was going to be like....woodys is so open, clean, & has such a nice atmosphere...i ordered the hangover burger for obv ious reasons...i know its going to be yummy...next time its going to be the fish tacos!:-)

I cannot say enough about Woody's. I have two kids (5 and 2), and love to take them out to eat. The only problem is there is ALWAYS a smoking section! NOT HERE!!!! Woody's is SMOKE FREE, and the food was incredible! I ordered the chicken strips and a side of mac n cheese for my kids, and there was MORE than enough food. I tried their food and it was great. Not your "normal" chicken strips. The Mac n cheese was superb. I had a burger and could only eat half of it, because it was so big! Needless to say, this is my new favorite place to est in Ocean Spring!!!!
