The Culture Trip, an international cultural review group with offices in major metropolitan cities around the globe, recently named The Ellen Rice Gallery one of the "10 Must See Galleries and Museums in Delaware". The gallery was established by Ellen Rice, one of Delaware's most collectible artists, in 1999. It grew from featuring her paintings and prints and the creations of a handful of artists to representing more than 100 local, regional and nationally recognized fine artisans working in a wide range of media to create unique gifts, jewelry, decor and garden furnishings. The gallery is a national NICHE Top Retailer Award finalist. Ellen Rice has been voted one of the Delaware shore's Top Ten Artists, named Best Artist, Delaware, multiple years, is PNC Bank 2014 Artist of the Year, and was recently been named one of the three Top Female Delaware Beach Artists. The artist is in the gallery regularly on Saturdays from 2 to 4 p.m., unannounced hours throughout the week and via appointments.
