The lack of unprofessionalism and cleanliness is just an understatement about Seaville Self Storage. After only having my personal items in this unit for not even 9 months in the unit and EVERYTHING got destroyed. Mold was growing on furniture and ceiling, cockroaches in my area rug and ANIMAL faeces on personal belongings. When I called the owner, he stated he was on vacation and couldn't do anything about it. Once his son came to the unit after me calling multiple times, he was speechless. Days later, after calling every day with no response, the wife called me and told me her belongings got moldy due to the "damp summer." I had other belongings in my mother's garage and nothing happened. Completely clean. Clearly, these people do not know how to maintain their buildings. Then, over TWO weeks later, the office manager finally decided to give me a call. When I told her about finding animal faeces, she told me that I need to keep the door shut. The door was shut at all times. There is a perfect hole in the ceiling where the animal could of gotten in. When I asked for all my rent back, they just ignored me.

I'm writing this post so that people who have units at Seavile Self Storage, please check your unit if you have not recently. I'm also warning seekers to not use this company. They are untrustworthy and unprofessional. Not once did I ever receive an apology. Yes, it's my own fault that we didnt get insurance but I put total trust in this family owned business. Such a disappointment.
