AMANDA SMITH began her design career in New York City at the remarkable agency Baron & Baron. She worked years in luxury brand fashion advertising, fragrance and cosmetic packaging with companies such as Burberry, Calvin Klein, Balenciaga, NARS and the like. Now for nearly a decade A. Smith & Co., an arts and graphics studio, has continuously developed with projects for well-known companies like Limited Brands, Bath & BodyWorks, Coty, and Sony along side smaller firms, startups, non-profits and musicians. Eventually partnering with illustrator WILLIAM KOZAK, a MIAD graduate and graphic designer himself, the studio relocated to the West Coast, and has further expanded into creative ventures like graphic novels, book covers, infographics and screen printing. Loving collaboration, our studio is frequently enlisting fellow artists, photographers and writers to keep the A. Smith & Co. products fresh and creative. The A. Smith & Co. approach is that of clear communication, with our clients and collaborators, a diligence to the project and its deadlines, and an absolute commitment to quality.
