Unprofessional comes to mind, but that may be too kind a reference. First, it wasn't easy to get both myself and my wife to agree to doing this, but we finally did agree one day. I called her to make an appointment, explained we had some restrictions as to days and hours due to my wife's job. Dr. Martin offered to move something around to accommodate us. We showed up but Dr. Martin did not. I called her to make sure we were at the right place. Her response? "I thought it was tomorrow. I had a personal appointment today." I still have the piece of paper where I was doodling when I talked to her. We both repeated the date and time. My wife went to great lengths to have her work schedule changed so that we could make this important appointment.
