I never went to the dentist until my mid to late thirties. Naturally, when I did go, I had an “issue”. That issue confirmed my fears about dentistry, formed from “Little Shop of Horrors” It was unpleasant from the moment I walked in the door, until the procedure was finished, and the obvious botched job that was done once I began to “heal”. I did not feel welcome—and actually was looked down upon for having never gone to the dentist.



Segue ten to 15 years and my husband told me about his great dentist, Dr. Hettinger. I gathered what little pride I had left, called the office for an appointment, and took my latest “issue” and fears to your office. The entire experience was the polar opposite of my first visit with “that other office posing as purveyors of dental services”. I was greeted with smiles. I saw a wonderful message of encouragement hand-picked by Dr. Paul Hettinger, no less. I mean, who does that? Then I was escorted to the examination room—and there it was—my name was on the wall, welcoming me there. REALLY—what kind of place is this?



It was the little touches that made the difference. And you gave me options to calm my fears. Everything has always been fully explained. I have followed your directions and my “situation” has turned around—with very favorable results! Now, I want to go to “the dentist”. But, not just any dentist—MY dentist! Dr. Hettinger, you are a wonderful, Godly man, who has surrounded himself with the best staff EVER! Each of them is a reflection of you.
