The Health and Human Services Department is a part of the government of Oconto County. It provides a variety of services to families, adults and children who need assistance with mental health, substance abuse and disability issues. The department s community services division provides behavioral health, psychiatric, long-term support and adult protection services. Its economic support division determines the eligibility and provides case management for FoodShare, child care and energy assistance programs. The department s public health division offers population-based programs and individual services to protect and promote the health of county residents.
